Exquiller
A cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler formulated with lidocaine. Four formulations share one concentration and differ in cross-linking density, so a single line covers everything from superficial lines to deep volume.
Composition
- Cross-linked hyaluronic acid, 24 mg/mL
- Lidocaine HCl, 3 mg/mL
- CE marked (with lidocaine)
- KGMP
- ISO 13485
- ISO 9001

exquiller SUB-Q

exquiller IMPLANT

- Concentration
- HA 24 mg/mL · Lidocaine HCl 3 mg/mL
- Needle
- 25G UTW · 27G UTW
- Indication
- Deep to very deep layer of subcutis
UTW (ultra thin wall) needles have a larger inner diameter than regular needles of the same gauge, which raises flow rate and lowers extrusion force during injection.
HYBRID cross-linking
The gel is built from both monophasic and biphasic hyaluronic acid, cross-linked in two stages and then put through a purification step that removes cross-linker that has not bound. Manufacturer testing reports residual BDDE below the detection limit against a < 2 ppm standard.

Quality control
Four controls the manufacturer applies to each batch, and the release specification they are tested against.
- 01Raw materialBuilt on a selected hyaluronic acid raw material that carries CE certification.
- 02Advanced cross-linkingThe two-stage ambivalent cross-linking of the HYBRID process, which minimises residual BDDE.
- 03Post sterilisationA sterilisation step after filling, which lowers the risk of microbial contamination.
- 04Performance testEvery batch is measured against the release specification below.

Degradation

Point of degradation — Exquiller

Point of degradation — company Y
Force at the plunger across the length of the injection. A lower, flatter line means less force is needed to keep the gel moving.
Hyaluronic acid content over 168 hours under enzymatic degradation. The marked point is where degradation sets in.
Approvals and reach
- Passed the first, second and third clinical trials of a Korean Institutional Review Board

About the gel
Hyaluronic acid is a polymer that occurs naturally in the dermis, where it holds water and helps maintain tissue volume. Injected in its natural form it is lost quickly, so it is cross-linked to make it more stable. A cross-linked gel combined with naturally occurring hyaluronic acid provides volume and support for four to twelve months.
